7 Hours of 7 Mile – Mountain Bike Race – Riders and Volunteers needed!

QMTBC is proud to announce the inaugural 7 Hours of 7 Mile – Mountain Bike endurance event:
Where: 7 Mile MTB trails – Wilsons Bays, Glenorchy Rd, Queenstown
When: Saturday 18th April 2009.  The race starts at 10am and finishes at 5pm.  Prizegiving will be held straight after – or at Revolver – to be confirmed.
Race Details: The 6 km circuit inlcudes all of the best bits of 7 Mile and more! The transition area is based at Wilson Bay.  The race can be done as part of a team (up to four people) or as an individual.  Teams are limited to 25 – so there will only be 35 or so riders on the course at any one time!
For those that would like to be involved but not ride, we are looking for volunteers to help out with marshalling etc. If you, or someone you know, would like to help please contact us at bikers@queenstownmtb.co.nz.
Cost: $30 per person.  All entry money is used by the club as fundraising for future trail development.
How to Enter: Download an Entry Form or pick on up from all local bike shops. Be is quick to secure your spot!
Make your team or individual payment online (amount is $30 per team member and Ref: QMTBC_7MileRace09) or send a cheque in with your signed and completed entry form to QMTBC, PO Box 1396, Queenstown
