Other events coming up for the summer
The League of Gentlemen series
The League of Gentlemen series is making a welcome comeback this summer.  Unfortunately the brainchild of the series Mr Seb Kemp won't be joining us this summer due to projects on the other side of the world.  But he has passed the torch on to Graeme Cooper, a long time Queenstown local and a great ambassador for mountain biking in Queenstown.
If you didn't take part in any of the events last summer, they were an absolute blast!  A real mixture of events that were very much run on the philosophy of having fun and bringing the Queenstown riding community together one night every few weeks. Graeme is very much going to carry them on in this spirit, which is great to hear, as they were such a sucess last year.
Revolver Bar are also going to get involved with the events, as well as being the preferred venue for after race drinks.  Matty is going to be coming along to film them all for his latest summer video project, the sequel to the fantastic "Diamonds in the Dirt".
So below are the dates and different races that have been decided so far.  There will be 8 different events over the summer, maybe more, see how things go, but each one is totally different, and you can make them as serious as you want.  Some of us like to time ourselves against the clock while others just like having a laugh, riding with a big group of friends and having a beer afterwards.
December 3rd - "Das Uber D"- Skyline
December 17th - "Really Railing Rally Race" - 7 Mile
January 7th - "V-Line Chainless" - Skyline
January 21st - "Snakes in the Grass Old School Dual Slalom" - Frankton Lakefront
Febuary 4th - "Pin it to Swim it" - 7 Mile
Febuary 18th - "King of Skippers" - Skippers Pack Track
March 4th - "Pump Track Pump Party"
