The Tour de Wakatipu was born out of the idea of having a fun challenging mountain bike event set in the Wakatipu Basin that links two rivers and two lakes, and using some of the new tracks developed by the Wakatipu Trails Trust.
Individuals will enjoy a scenic tour of the basin using 4×4 and gravel roads, as well as single tracks with only a kilometre or so of tarmac during the journey.
