This Mountain Bike ride and run offers you a chance to explore a stunning, secluded corner of the Te Anau Basin, with a range of secrets and surprises opened up for all to share. Good tracks through private land allow you to experience native bush, golden tussocks, hidden lakes and flowing rivers. You will enjoy mixing challenging undulations with a river crossing and fords as well as sections of easier terrain which allow you to look around and take in views of the mountain ranges that flank Te Anau and Manapouri.
A great day out for every age and category.
This is a unique opportunity to explore the back country of the Mavora area. This land has been made open to the public for one day only, don’t miss this opportunity, there is an event for everyone!

The lads from Vertigo have kindly allocated a few bike tools for members of the QMTBC at the Vertigo Bike Box at the Queenstown Bike Park. You do have to show your Queenstown Mountain Bike Club membership card to use ‘em though. No card = No Tools.

If you want to use Vertigo’s Tools and you are not a member of the QMTBC you have a couple of options;
Numero uno: Join our fab club; membership gives you so much more than the free use of Vertigo’s Tools. If the discount on a Skyline bike pass is not enough to have you sign up for your cool purple membership card, then our deals and discounts will convince you.
Numero dos: Gold coin donation!! Vertigo’s Tools are for business use, so it is only understandable that we cannot just help ourselves!
Vertigo have the membership packs at all of their outlets.

The World Bar is putting on a bikers night next Thursday 29th September.
QMTBC members will get access to a Free Bar tab (from 8pm) and food by signing up for the World’s “company card”
We’ll also be going back to the old school showing some of Alex Rankin’s legendary Earthed movies.
Remember you can sign up to the club at all the local bike shops, we’ll have membership sign up available at the world on the night as well.
So come along & hang out, meet some new peeps in town to shred for the summer, and shoot the shit about all things MTB.
See you all there.

Yep .. it’s happened … Queenstown Mountain Bike Club has T-shirts hitting the high street. R & R and Outside Sports will be stocking our club T-shirts each with their own individual colours.

You can still order direct from the club online, however please note that our clothing consultant is winging it to the Bahamas until 5th Oct, so we cannot offer you the opportunity to try tees on for size during that time.
We design and sell t-shirts as a way to raise money for the club. This money is then put towards the creation and maintenance of trails in the area as well as putting on events and making mountain biking in Queenstown all the more enjoyable for you guys, so please support us
