As advertised in the newsletter some time ago the AGM was moved to Thursday September 26. We are hoping that by having the AGM at the start of the season we can latch on to the anticipation and excitement of the coming summer of biking. It was to be at the World Bar on Shotover Street but as that is still out of commission after the tragic fire we need another venue. We'll have a word to the guys and maybe hold it at the World's temporary home The Find nearer the bottom of Shotover Street (the old, new Revolver), stay tuned... So now is the time to decide if you would like to stand for the club committee or a subcommittee. So far we only have an official subcommittee for DH but we could form a few more if there is enough interest as it would take some of the load off the main committee. If you are interested in being on a subcommittee for 7 Mile or Gorge Rd or project based subcommittees for any larger trail building projects that might come along send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org. If anyone is interested in standing for the committee please contact one of the existing committee members who you can contact using the form on the bottom of the About page on the website. If you are unsure about how it all works we can arrange for you to come along to the finl monthly meeting before the AGM so you can see how we go about things.
