There was an awesome turn out at the first event, the guys couldn’t have been happier with how it went. They are still testing the water a bit with the format, but they think it worked really well and now the first round is out the way it can be dialed it in fully. If you have any feedback or ideas let the boys at Vertigo know.
To make it a totally even playing field as much as possible after the first round it is clear the handicaps need to be altered more, which will be done for the next race. So hopefully everyone is in with a fighting chance and makes for some good friendly rivalry! Especially between the teams.
It is still all to play for! There really isn’t much overall time differences between all the teams, so anything can and will happen once the time handicap is sorted! Cant wait until the next one!

Big thanks to the Queenstown Mountain Bike Club, Searle Lane and Skyline for supporting us with this and helping make it happen for us and you guys, and thanks to Crown Kiwi distributors for being the sponsor of the first round with some awesome 100% goodies.
Remember that the Giant Reign 27.5 2 is up for grabs at the final round in March, and the more events you come along to the bigger the chance you have of winning the bike!
The next one is Tuesday 27th January, so get that in your diary.
