A couple of Queenstown locals are bringing the Ocean Film Festival to the Memorial Hall this Wednesday the 11th of March. If you’re looking for a great night out and would like to support local culture in Queenstown – then it could be for you.
The festival is two hours of the best ocean based films from around the world – everything from rowing (most) of the Atlantic, to free-diving with sharks off the coast of South Africa. It’s a dose of salty goodness for anyone with even the slightest aquatic leanings.
The trailer is here on Youtube here, you can get tickets, on Eventfinda (or at the door)
and there’s a stack more information on the Ocean Film Festival website. Tickets are $24 ($18 for concessions) and you can get them from eventfinda or on the night $1 of which goes to Paddle for Hope.
