We’ll be needing volunteer marshals this Saturday for the final round of the QTDH race series – “Das Uber D”
The race track (mainly down with a few downs thrown in for good measure) has a few road crossings and direction changes so we’ll need a few extra people to make sure no cars get smashed by the riders.
We know your time is precious so you’ll be rewarded with high fives and there’ll be a bar tab at Lonestar for volunteers as a thank you for donating your time. Fancy volunteering? Meet at the Camp ground at the top of Man Street at 8,30am.
If you fancy racing here’s the details –
The race will be in the style of the League of Gentleman’s Das Uber D. For those of you who weren’t here in the days before there was lift access to the Queenstown Bike Park you probably missed out on this awesome event. Not to worry – now’s your chance.
The race track will be mainly down but with a few ups thrown in along the way. Probably best on a trail bike but a DH bike will do the job if that’s all you have.
Registration from 8-10am at the Camp Ground at the top of Man Street.
Race Practice from 9-11 am
Race runs at 12 – 1 race run only.
Prize giving for Das Uber D (sponsored by the good fellas at H&J’s Outdoor World) and the 2016 QTDH series will be from 4pm at Lonestar.
$30 entry plus you’ll need a lift pass – Skyline are offering $40 half day passes for racers without season passes.
See you there!
