One of the main reasons for the formation of the Queenstown mountain bike club was to engage with the larger community in the building of Mountain Bike Trails trails in the Queenstown region.  The club works closely with the Department of Conservation, the local council and landowners in building new trails and maintaining the existing trail network.

If you have a vision for a new trail or want to get involved in trails we already have planned then get in touch and join the QMTBC dig nights - everyone is welcome and it's the best way to have your say about the trails you ride. Full details are available on the QMTBC Facebook Page. Tools, guidance, good chat and cheap fush and chups provided for all diggers.

To help out simply come along to any of our volunteer dig days. Find out about them or events that you can help out with by signing up to our mailing list or keeping an eye out on our facebook page.  You can help the club in many ways, we are always looking for sponsors or any talent you have that can benefit the club is always greatly appreciated and helps us grow.

Every Wednesday night dedicated individuals from the Queenstown mountain bike club get together to build trails. All are welcome and all your hard work really pays off when you get to ride those trails. The location varies but it runs every week rain, hail or shine.  To get the low-down on where it is happening now keep an eye on our facebook page for weekly updates.
