TREADMARK

Treadmark provides a comprehensive range of mountain biking coaching services in Central Otago, including areas like Cardrona Alpine Resort, Matangi Station MTB, and Coronet Peak.

1. Private MTB Lessons: Suitable for all skill levels, these 3-hour lessons offer a personalized approach to mountain biking.

2. Introduction to MTB - Group Coaching Lesson: These 3-hour group lessons held at the scenic Seven Mile Bike Park, focus on essential mountain biking skills, including gear shifting, braking techniques, body positioning, and terrain analysis.

3. Women’s MTB Coaching (Bikes, Beers, and Queens & MTB Mums Progression Sessions): The Bikes, Beers, and Queens sessions focus on body dynamics, weight distribution, and advanced techniques. The MTB Mums sessions, ideal for beginner and intermediate riders, are a 5-week program emphasizing basic skill building and technique improvement during school hours.

4. Youth Programs (Junior Coaching & After School MTB Progression): The Junior Coaching sessions, available during school holidays, cover everything from body dynamics to jump techniques. The After School MTB Progression, for ages 7-15, offers structured skill development in various terrains and conditions.

THE RIDE GUIDE

All lessons are private for beginner and intermediate riders on e-bikes or regular mountain bikes. We start with the basics including bike setup, body position and braking then move on to climbing, cornering, rolling obstacles etc. You will be amazed at how quickly you will feel safer and more confident at any level.
 

For E-bikers we start with the basics and then work on the areas specific to e-biking such as utilising power, cadence and cornering with heavier bikes.

Our three hour lessons go by quickly as we spend an hour or two on bike setup and drills so don't worry about your fitness level.
