Southern trust Funding Approved

The Southern Trust has approved our $10,000 funding application for a new mountain bike climbing trail on the Wynyard side of Fernhill Loop. The trail will allow for easier access to the famous Waratah and Kelly McGarry’s memorial table at the top of Fernhill Loop.

This is the first of a two stage project, the second being a flow/jump trail back down to the Wynyard Bike Park.

Work on the mountain bike climbing trail is scheduled for October by Tom Hey of Elevate Trail Building who have also discounted their price for the club to make the project achievable.
