Winter is in full swing and the night riding has been great recently! However, the summer MTB season is always on our minds. You may have noticed that there's something happening in the forest... #thefreshening. Wondering what it's all about? Queenstown Bike Park is getting an epic re-do for the upcoming season. And we can give you an insiders tip that THIS IS GOING TO BE THE SEASON of a life time! The goals are to create a world class bike park, create a place that everyone wants to visit and help local businesses grow.

Whilst works are ongoing, check out Trailforks for up to date trail closure information - we will keep it as current as we can and ask you to please respect all closures and give the trail crews a big 'YEEEAHH!" if you see them at work. Choice. #gsdsince2003 We are also busy planning for an awesome summer of events and it already feels like it’s only just around the corner. There are a lot of moving parts in the background of building and maintaining rad trails and we do have a couple of pretty cool projects on the go right now. Read on for more info on the first new trail project we will be cranking into - we think you'll be into it!

We are stoked to be screening the new Matchstick Productions film 'A Biker's Ballad' on Tuesday August 10th, 6.30pm.

Join us for the NZ premiere of this film at Cargo Gantley's in Arthurs Point.

This new film explores the various disciplines of mountain biking in the birthplace of the sport, Crested Butte, Colorado. Ranging from Enduro to XC to Freeride, the film makers at Matchstick leave no stone unturned. This is a bike movie for all riders and an ode to the deep rooted culture of the sport.

CYCLORAMA Arrowtown - November 2021

Join the Cyclorama NZ team for curated rides and unique experiences over the weekend of 13/14th of November, head to the website below to book your tickets.

Our friends at the Queenstown Trails Trust are hiring a Marketing & Partnerships Coordinator for their non-profit organisation in Queenstown.

If you love to create engaging content for social media, are a savvy digital marketer and have a understanding of the fundraising world, we'd love to hear from you. The Queenstown Trails Trust is looking for a trail-loving marketing superstar with a can-do attitude to work alongside its CEO Mark 'Willy' Williams and Board of Trustees.

From social media, marketing and fundraising to partnerships, special projects and administration that will keep the office humming, this one-of-a-kind full-time role is as wide ranging as Queenstown’s trails. Suited to someone who is community minded and eager to help grow the Whakatipu Basin’s trail network, this role requires someone who is tech savvy and has good writing and organisational skills.
