The Queenstown Mountain Bike Club (QMTBC) is on the hunt for a Club Manager—and it might just be the dream job you’ve been waiting for.

About the Role

As the QMTBC Club Manager, you'll be the driving force behind one of New Zealand’s most iconic MTB communities. You’ll oversee daily operations, financial management, sponsorships, trail access, events, and everything in between—all while keeping the stoke high and the wheels turning.

This full-time, one-year fixed term role is based in Queenstown, with a mix of in-office and remote work.

What You’ll Be Doing

Strategic Leadership: Bring the club’s strategic plan to life and guide it through growth and change.
Community Engagement: Build strong relationships with sponsors, stakeholders, and local legends.
Trail & Contract Management: Coordinate with contractors, ensure certifications, and manage trail-related agreements.
Fundraising & Sponsorship: Secure funding, maintain sponsor relations, and keep the budget humming.
Team Oversight: Support and mentor the club’s admin assistant.
Health & Safety: Maintain high safety standards across all club activities.

Who You Are

You’re a seasoned leader (bonus if from a nonprofit background) with a strong grasp of budgeting, public relations, and project management. You understand the MTB world, know how to navigate trail access challenges, and can rally a community behind a vision. Most importantly, you’re stoked about bikes and bringing people together.
